The North Luzon East Expressway (NLEE) is a 4 lane, 100-kilometer expressway which involves the application of the new concept or technology called the “Water Sensitive Urban Tollway” in the construction of the Stage 1. The project spans from Commonwealth Ave. in Quezon City (Metro Manila) to 'Bigte, Norzagaray, Bulacan'. The Stage 1 catchment area will produce a minimum 15.2 million cubic meters of bulk water to the La Mesa Reservoir.
The subsequent stages stretch up to Cabanatuan, Nueva Ecija on the island of Luzon in the Philippines. The construction involves 3 stages and will be the country's longest tollway when the expressway becomes fully operational.
